WordPress stores all of your content in databases. Actual image, and audio files are stored in your server’s folders, but the XHTML code that makes your websites are in the database. WordPress is designed to consider subdomain?s, so if you have multiple sites, this should work as well. However, you need the MySQL database for everything to work. Most host?s will provide at least one database, but you should make sure if they don’t make mention of a database. If you do not have a MySQL database, you would either need to choose a different host, or find a MySQL hosting company to provide you with a database.
